The family of former president, Muhammadu Buhari has announced his passing on today.
A statement signed by bis former media aid, Garba Shehu quoted the family as the source of the news of his demise.
Also, one of his aides, who reproduced the statement by Shehu on his X handle reaffirmed that the former president who left office in May 2023 died of an ailment not disclosed.
For some weeks, rumours had been on social media that Buhari has been ill and in a hospital in the UK.
