The Integrity Youth Alliance (IYA) has called on the general public especially the Senate to disregard the statement credited to one Senator Hamman Misau, representing Bauchi Central Senatorial District alleging that the amiable IGP, Ibrahim Idris impregnated serving female police.
In a press release on Thursday in Abuja, the national Coordinator of the Integrity Youth Alliance, Kelvin Adegbenga said that no serious human being will take Senator Hamman Misau considering his past activities in the Nigeria Police before he deserted the force to join politics with contradictory forged documents.
“It is regrettable that Order 43 raised by Misau has now become a child’s play. If not, how can the respected Senate listen to baseless allegation by Misau that the amiable and workaholic IGP Idris was in ‘extra marital affairs with one Amina and another Esther, but eventually wedded Amina secretly in Kaduna after being impregnated, Adegbenga said.
“We are not surprised that Senator Misau could alleged that the amiable IGP Idris is having extra marital affairs as almost all the Nigerian police personnel knew the atrocities committed by Misau’s father before he was shown the way out of the Nigeria Police.
“We challenge Senator Misau to show evidences that officers were posted to oil and other multinational Companies for fees or else we take a legal action of defaming the image of the Nigeria Police that made him who he is today, despite forging documents to become a Senator.
The group further called on any police officers that has paid N500,000 to Senator Misau or any other Police Officer for promotion to come out with concrete evidences.
It will be recalled that Senator Hamman Misau and the IGP have been at each other’s jugular over bribery allegations against the Nigeria Police.
