Stop Vicitimising Prince Obi With Illegality, Youths Alliance Tells Expelled Samuel Iweho

The Integrity Youth Alliance said her attention has been drawn to a purported letter signed for one expelled chairman of NCP, South East, Mr. Samuel Iweho by Comrade Ombudsman A Okwara claiming to be an invitation to appear before a Kangaroo administrative/disciplinary panel, National Consensus Party (NCP) Imo State over allegation of gross misconduct. Anti-party activities and constitutional violations.  

In a press release by her National Coordinator, Kelvin Adegbenga, he want to know what is wrong for anybody or group to partner with the Nigeria police to organize a program that has to do with peace; What is wrong if the Nigeria Police Force find the program presented by Prince Obi’s civil society organization worthy and decide to finance same; What is wrong for Prince Goodluck Obi to involve other people to be part of activities; What is wrong to attend a program and stay in a hotel accommodation?

“It is a known fact that most of us must have attended programs through our various organization within and outside the country where we were lodged in hotels and return with a little stipends called honorarium.

Adegbenga further reiterated that Prince Leo Uzoma is the elected and current Chairman of National Conscience Party (NCP) while the purported petitioner Mr. Samuel Iweho was constitutionally expelled after exhausting all NCP constitutional provision for expulsion.

“The Disciplinary Committee which was constituted in accordance with NCP constitution was headed by a renowned legal practitioner cum luminary Barrister Chibuike Nwabueze who doubles as General Secretary of NCP, Anambra State.

“Our investigation reveals the Communique and other documents affirming Mr. Iweho’s expulsion alongside his collaborators in crime from other South East States of Abia and Ebonyi, Adegbenga said.

He further reiterated that the Chairman of the Committee also promised to give reporters all the authenticated documents upon request.
