Ekol Sports commentator, Ergin Keleş, has hailed Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen as a “serious force” in football, crediting the Galatasaray forward for his incredible impact and work rate on the pitch.
Keleş, speaking to Turkish outlet Habersarikirmizi, said Osimhen’s energy and presence make Galatasaray feel like they have two extra players on the field.
“Osimhen is a serious force in his own right. When you watch him live, it feels like he’s making your team play with two more players,” Keleş said.
He also questioned the accuracy of Osimhen’s reported height, suggesting that the Nigerian forward appears taller than official records indicate.
“Osimhen’s height is listed online as around 1.85m, but I don’t think that’s possible. He must be at least 1.90m,” he added.
Keleş praised the combination of talents at Galatasaray, noting that watching Osimhen alongside stars like Mauro Icardi, Leroy Sané, and İlkay Gündoğan is “a real pleasure.”
Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray from Napoli, was instrumental in helping the Turkish giants win the Super Lig title last season. The 26-year-old forward has continued his impressive form this season and is expected to lead the team’s attack when they face Bodø/Glimt in the UEFA Champions League tonight.
