A wave of fear has taken over the Barki Abdullahi (BAD) community in Lafia Local Government Area of Nasarawa State after a brutal attack by suspected Fulani herdsmen left a woman severely maimed and several others injured.
According to residents, the attackers stormed the quiet farming community on Saturday, ambushing farmers who were tending to their crops. In the chaos that followed, one woman suffered the horrific loss of her hand after it was severed with a machete.
