Balla Mohammed, Bauchi State governor and governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has dumped his deputy, Baba Kaka Tela ahead of the 2023 race.
Mohammed has picked the lawmaker representing the Zaki federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Mohammed Auwal Jatau, as his running mate.
The development was revealed by Jatau on Sunday while addressing newsmen in Bauchi.
Jatau in his statement appreciated the state Governor for choosing him as his running mate,
He promised to reciprocate the honour by being a loyal and supportive deputy governor.
