The Ikeja Electricity, IE, distribution company has announced that it will plunge some areas in Alimosho Local Government of Lagos State into darkness for 10 consecutive days.
It was recalled that the power outage would start from Tuesday 6th September to Monday 15th September, 2022.
Ikeja Disco, in a statement on Sunday, said the outage will be caused by the replacement of old panels at its Igando injection substation.
The electricity company stated that the replacement of the panels is geared towards “improving the quality and quantity of power” to the areas that will be affected in the local government area
