The All Progressives Congress, APC, has warned the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu against spreading false narratives about the party.
The APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka issued a cautionary statement on Tuesday to this effect.
It was recalled that Ayu had earlier denied a statement attributed to him which states that the Rivers state Governor Nyesom Wike could not father a child.
In a statement on Saturday, the former Senate President distanced himself from the social media posts which quoted him as demeaning Wike.
Reacting to Ayu’s response, the APC said that the PDP chairman alleged that mischievous persons from the ruling party were planting such stories in the media and stoking the feud between him and Wike.
Morka argued that Ayu’s mindset was the reason the crisis in the PDP continues to worsen under his watch
