There are indications that President Bola Tinubu may have chosen Nuhu Ribadu for the position of National Security Adviser (NSA), according to former lawmaker Shehu Sani, who mentioned this on Sunday.
Nuhu Ribadu previously served as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Shehu Sani, in a post on his verified Twitter handle, commended the appointment of Ribadu and highlighted the challenge he would face in addressing the nation’s security issues.
He stated, “The appointment of Nuhu Ribadu as the new NSA is commendable. I am well aware of the malicious and envious individuals who ensured that Ribadu was denied any appointment in the last eight years simply because he was not aligned with the current administration. The challenge before him is to address our security challenges. I wish him all the best.”
