In a recent development, Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has indirectly responded to Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson’s claims that Tonto’s ex-boyfriend, Iyanya, was involved with her while they were still dating.
Yvonne Nelson made these allegations in her book titled ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson,’ where she stated that Tonto Dikeh would visit Iyanya and even spend the night with him whenever Yvonne was away after visiting him in Nigeria. She also mentioned that she suspected Iyanya had similar encounters with other female crew members.
Controversial blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus, however, took to Instagram to refute Yvonne Nelson’s claims. Stella dismissed the allegations as lies, calling Yvonne’s book a fabrication. She asserted that there was never a time when Tonto dated Iyanya, and accused Yvonne of targeting Nigerian celebrities in her book as a means to revive her own career.
Stella wrote, “Your book is a lie from the pit of hell! It’s been a long time, and it’s a pity you targeted Naija celebs in your book, but hey, we all know doing what you have done is the fastest way to relaunch a sleeping career.”
Despite the weight of the allegations against her, Tonto Dikeh has chosen to maintain an unusually quiet stance. However, in response to Stella Dimoko Korkus’ post, Tonto simply liked the Instagram post, indirectly expressing her agreement with Stella’s refutation of Yvonne Nelson’s claims.
