Mark Zuckerberg, the Facebook founder, has been training with UFC icons Israel Adesanya and Alex Volkanovski, fueling speculation about a potential fight with Elon Musk.
Rumors of a showdown between the two billionaires emerged after Musk called out Zuckerberg on social media in June. While some consider it to be a joke, Zuckerberg seems to be taking the matter seriously. In recent gym pictures, he displayed his chiseled arms and six-pack alongside Adesanya and Volkanovski.
According to TMZ, Adesanya and Volkanovski visited Zuckerberg’s home in northern California after UFC 290 in Las Vegas to train with him. Zuckerberg expressed his gratitude, stating, “It’s an honor to train with you guys.”
Although Zuckerberg may not reach the standards of professional fighters like Adesanya and Volkanovski, the UFC star was impressed by his efforts, captioning an Instagram post with trophy emojis and referring to Zuckerberg as serious business.
Zuckerberg has previously demonstrated his combat skills by winning medals at a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament earlier this year. With both Zuckerberg and Musk seemingly interested in the idea of a fight, MMA journalist Ariel Helwani believes that it could actually happen, speculating that the wealthy individuals might be seeking some entertainment and amusement.
