*Abuja, Nigeria – September 1, 2023* – The family of the late Abdullahi Muraina, a former Chief of Accounts and Budget in the Nigerian Army, is embroiled in a legal dispute over his assets, including properties and vehicles. The legal battle has prompted a warning to the public against engaging in any acquisition rights involving the disputed properties.
According to a notice published in ThisDay Newspaper on Friday, the properties in question are intended for distribution among the late Major General’s “deserving heirs.” The legal dispute is currently before a court in Abuja under suit no: CV/104/2022/ Usiagu Muraina and three others vs. Aibat Adepuju Bolanle Bamidele and three others.

The legal notice warns that the upper area court has acquired jurisdiction, power, and control over the disputed properties pending the final determination of the ongoing legal suit.
Abdullahi Muraina, before his passing in September 2022, had served the Nigerian Army for 35 years, holding various roles and earning numerous awards and recognitions. He was also a prominent figure in professional organizations and institutes, including the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. His passing marked the beginning of the legal dispute over his estate among family members.
