During the monthly thanksgiving service of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the church, made a bold prediction that the Nigerian Naira has the potential to bounce back and even surpass the value of the United States dollar in the future.
The prediction comes in the midst of challenging economic conditions in Nigeria, with reports indicating a significant gap between the official exchange rate and the black market rate for the dollar. According to sources, the black market buying rate of the dollar is approximately N915, while it sells at N918, reflecting the pressure on the Naira.
Adeboye’s prediction was made during the September-themed thanksgiving service, which focused on ‘Uncommon Miracles.’
He stated, “The days when the Naira will be stronger will come back; those glorious days will return, and when that happens, you will know.”
Adeboye emphasized that miracles are extraordinary events that may not always be comprehensible to everyone. He shared personal experiences of miraculous testimonies, highlighting that some miracles are so remarkable that they are difficult to put into words.
The revered clergyman’s words offer hope and optimism in the face of economic challenges, expressing confidence in the Naira’s potential to recover and regain strength in the future.
