President Bola Tinubu has appointed Zacch Adedeji as the acting chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS). Adedeji, who previously served as the special adviser to Tinubu on revenue, has also held the position of Commissioner of Finance during the administration of the late Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi.
Adedeji, a certified accountant, hails from the Iwo-Ate area of Ogo-Oluwa local government in Oyo state. Notably, he recently earned his doctorate degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
