The Department of State Security (DSS) has reportedly arrested 23-year-old Fildausi Musa Ahamadu after she allegedly made threats of suicide and violence against the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Kano, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna.
A source, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed Ahamadu’s arrest. The suspect, claiming to be fighting for Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of the NNPP, appeared in a viral video clip circulating in the city.
In the video, Fildausi was heard verbally attacking the lead judge in the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal and warning of harm if she encounters her. She also directed threats at Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, warning him against indicating his location, stating that she wouldn’t hesitate to use a bomb vest for a suicide attack.
Furthermore, Ahamadu directed blame at Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, holding him responsible for the court challenges faced by the NNPP in Kano.
