In a testimony of divine intervention, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, revealed that Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners’ Chapel, played a pivotal role in her journey to becoming a minister in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
During a recent address, Minister Edu shared her experience at the yearly Shiloh program held in the first week of December, highlighting her prayer request from the previous year. She recounted how she had prayed at Shiloh 2022, expressing her desire to be a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by the next year’s Shiloh.
Edu narrated the moment she approached Bishop Oyedepo on the last day of Shiloh and whispered her prayer request to him, stating, “I want to come back to Shiloh 2023 as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.” According to her, Bishop Oyedepo prayed for her, assuring her that it was done.
In her testimony, Minister Edu expressed gratitude to God for the fulfillment of her prayer, acknowledging that despite the odds, she is now a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. She highlighted the significance of her appointment, being one of the youngest ministers in the Fourth Republic and emphasized that her achievement was a testament to God’s faithfulness.
