The online community has been abuzz with discussions surrounding the missing portraits of Bola Tinubu, a prominent Nigerian politician, in various offices at the Abia State Government House. However, Ferdinand Ekeoma, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the governor, has dismissed claims that the absence of the portraits is due to the previous administration’s failure to recognize Tinubu as the Nigerian president.
Ekeoma clarified that while the president’s portraits are present in some offices, they are not displayed in all of them. The same applies to the governor’s portraits, as this is a new government that is in the process of placing pictures in the offices. He emphasized that the absence of portraits is not politically motivated but simply a matter of the new government’s ongoing arrangements.
Furthermore, Ekeoma accused opposition groups in the state of sponsoring media reports to undermine and discredit the governor. He vehemently denied any suggestion that the duly sworn-in president would not be recognized by the government, deeming such claims baseless and lacking any logical basis.
