During the Cross Over Service at the new auditorium of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Simawa, Ogun state, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer, delivered prophecies for the year 2024, cautioning Nigerians not to expect relief from the current hardship in the country anytime soon. In fact, he predicted that things will get even more challenging before improvement occurs.
Pastor Adeboye emphasized the central theme of his prophecies, stating, “Everything God is saying is centered around that little sentence; The wind is blowing, include in your prayers that the wind will blow you good.” He shared a forewarning that in the context of Nigeria, things will worsen before they improve, comparing the situation to the saying, “when the wind blows, the anus of the chicken will be exposed,” suggesting that serious secrets will come to light.
Despite the bleak outlook, Pastor Adeboye encouraged Nigerians not to lose hope, emphasizing that the phrase “the wind is blowing” also implies that things will eventually get better. He advised individuals to include prayers for favorable winds in their supplications.
In terms of individual prophecies, Pastor Adeboye encouraged his church members to be prepared to seize the numerous opportunities that will come their way in the new year. He prophesied that some people who start as nobodies will become significant before the end of the year.
On the international scene, Adeboye predicted divine interventions in parts of the world currently facing challenges. Additionally, he foresaw mighty breakthroughs at the global level in the discovery of treatments for diseases such as cancer, asthma, hypertension, diabetes, and others.
Pastor Adeboye’s prophecies offer a mix of cautionary messages for Nigerians regarding the anticipated challenges and a message of hope, coupled with predictions of individual opportunities and global breakthroughs in 2024.
