Iyorchia Ayu, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Iyorchia Ayu has been blamed for the exit of Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso from the party.
It was recalled that Obi upon his defection from PDP joined Labour Party (LP) and emerged as the party’s presidential candidate, while Kwankwaso joined New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and picked the presidential ticket of the party.
A chieftain of PDP, Mohammed Jamo, accused Ayu of being responsible for their defection during an interview on Channels TV.
This is coming at the time that four members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP returned monies paid into their account by Ayu.
