The Police Command in Katsina State has confirmed the arrest of a woman named Tinene Isa, believed to be in her thirties, for allegedly cutting off her husband’s manhood. The incident took place in Kafur Local Government Area of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Abubakar Aliyu, confirmed the arrest and the victim’s condition. The husband, whose name was not disclosed, is currently in critical condition and receiving medical treatment at the General Hospital, Malumfashi.
According to reports, the suspect used a razor blade to perpetrate the act on her husband. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and authorities are conducting investigations to ascertain the circumstances leading to the incident.
ASP Abubakar Aliyu stated, “I told you, we are making an investigation into the matter. She is a bride of over 30 years of age, maybe she took a long time before she married, or it is not her first marriage. I don’t have much detail; we will find out all these in our investigations.”
The suspect, Tinene Isa, will face charges and be prosecuted in court after the investigations are completed. The police are determined to get to the bottom of the case and bring justice to the victim.
