Renowned Nigerian entertainer, Charles Oputa, famously known as Charly Boy, has made a bold declaration, stating that he will walk naked on the streets of Lagos if Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s candidate in the last presidential election, emerges victorious at the election tribunal.
As per Politics Nigeria’s report, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had previously announced Bola Tinubu as the winner of the election, leading to his subsequent swearing-in as President on May 29.
However, the Labour Party, along with its candidate Peter Obi, approached the court to challenge Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 presidential polls.
Taking to his Twitter handle on Wednesday, July 26, Charly Boy boldly stated that if the tribunal overturns Tinubu’s victory and announces Peter Obi as the rightful winner, he will jubilate by walking naked from one end of Bodillon to Falomo.
