Charly Boy, the maverick singer also known as Charles Oputa, has issued a warning to the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, urging him not to concede defeat to President Bola Tinubu. Obi and the Labour Party are currently in court challenging Tinubu’s victory.
However, Charly Boy has made it clear that even if Obi decides to drop his petitions at the Presidential Election Tribunal, he and other supporters of the Labour Party would not agree to such an arrangement.
Charly Boy believes that Nigeria is in need of a revolution and that the country must become better “by fire by force.” He expressed his frustration with the state of the nation and insinuated that the time for a revolution had long been overdue.
In a tweet on Tuesday evening, Charly Boy emphasized that if the judiciary fails to deliver justice, Obi’s supporters would explore other options. He called on Nigerians to pay close attention to the judiciary and stated that they would take action if necessary.
