A Lagos coroner court in Ikorodu has summoned music star Abdulazeez Fashola, widely known as Naira Marley, along with Sam Larry and Owodunni Ibrahim, popularly known as Primeboy, in relation to the death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
The coroner magistrate, Adedayo Shotobi, issued the summons as part of an ongoing inquest aimed at determining the cause of Mohbad’s death. The trio has been summoned to appear before the court on October 25, where they are expected to provide information and insights into the incident, helping to identify any individuals responsible for the tragic event.
Preliminary inquiries into Mohbad’s death began on September 29 at the Magistrate Court in Ikorodu, Lagos State. The coroner’s court, responsible for investigating unnatural or violent deaths, as well as cases where the cause remains unknown, is seeking to unravel the circumstances surrounding the demise of the late Nigerian singer.
The coroner has instructed the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCID), Panti, to ensure the presence of Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and Primeboy on the scheduled date of October 25. This summons is a significant step in the quest for clarity surrounding Mohbad’s passing.
