Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria’s President and his Polish counterpart, Andrzej Duda met on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
It was reported earlier that Duda arrived at the Villa at about 10:30 am and was given a warm welcome with a guard of honour.
After a brief reception, the two leaders came to terms and signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Agriculture to strengthen collaboration between both countries in the sector.
Interacting with journalists at the front porch of the Presidential Villa in Abuja shortly after the closed-door session with Buhari, Duda said the MoU becomes necessary in the light of Russia’s aggression in Ukraine and the consequent food crisis.
He was optimistic that some good will come out of the MoU
