The Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) has confirmed the appointment of Engr Beks Dagogo-Jack, OFR, FNSE, FNIM, as the substantive National Secretary of PANDEF. This follows the approval of his nomination by the National Leader, Chief Sen Dr. E. K. Clarke, OFR, CON and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

A PANDEF Press Statement signed by Dr. Obiuwevbi Christopher Ominimini, PANDEF National Spokesman on December 30, 2024 said the National Chairman, Ambassador Igali, further explained that this appointment is pursuant to a resolution of the Special General Assembly of 24th October 2024, wherein the Rivers State Elders of PANDEF were requested to consult and submit a suitable candidate to fill the vacant position, following which, Engr. Beks Dagogo-Jack was formally presented to the Board of Trustees via a letter dated 9th December 2024, signed on behalf of the Rivers Elders by His Excellency Chief Rufus Ada-George, former Governor of the State.
Engr. Beks Dagogo-Jack comes with distinguished credentials to serve in that capacity. He is a tenured Fellow of Nigerian Society of Engineers, Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management & a recipient of the National honour, OFR. He has served at both the State & Federal levels in executive positions as former Commissioner for Works, Housing and Transport as well as Presidential Adviser /Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Power in the Jonathan administration.
His credentials of service to the Region, Niger Delta and Nigeria are very superb.
