Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian rapper Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has demanded a DNA test on his grandson, Liam. The call for a paternity test comes amid controversy and allegations surrounding the late singer’s son.
Nigerians have been divided over whether a DNA test should be conducted on Mohbad’s five-month-old son, Liam, to determine his true paternity. While some argue that it is necessary in the wake of allegations of infidelity against Mohbad’s wife, others deem the calls for a DNA test as insensitive.
In an interview with BBC Pidgin, Mohbad’s father expressed his support for a DNA test, stating that it has become a global concern. He emphasized the need to do the “proper thing at the proper time,” aligning with the growing trend of conducting DNA tests for paternity verification.
