In the ongoing drama surrounding Nollywood actor Emeka Ike’s marriage, Creative Industry Group (CIG) President Felix Duke has refuted actress Shan George’s support for Emeka’s ex-wife, Suzanne Emma. Duke disclosed that he was intimately involved in efforts to reconcile the couple from the outset and criticized those who spoke without understanding the situation.
Duke revealed that Emeka Ike had knelt down in court to beg Suzanne Emma not to divorce him, recounting his close friendship with Emeka and his involvement in their attempts at reconciliation. Despite Duke’s efforts, Emma refused to accept pleas for reconciliation, ultimately leading to the dissolution of the marriage.
He emphasized that Emeka Ike had suffered depression and significant losses, including his established school and properties, as a result of the marital crisis. Duke defended Emeka’s character, stating that he witnessed the actor’s genuine love for Emma.
Addressing Shan George, Duke questioned her involvement and criticized her for not attempting to settle the matter or understanding the complexities of the situation. He challenged her knowledge of the details, suggesting that she was speaking without a comprehensive understanding of the marital dispute.
Duke expressed displeasure over Emeka Ike’s first son, Michael, getting involved in the public fallout and criticizing his father on social media. He questioned Michael’s actions and suggested that Emma influenced him to make negative statements against his father. Duke raised concerns about Michael’s future reconciliation with his father given the public insults he directed at Emeka.
