Panic engulfed the Ikeja area of Lagos State on Tuesday when a helicopter crashed into a building and immediately burst into flames. The terrifying incident took place opposite the AP fuel station, near a branch of the United Bank for Africa in the Oba Akran area of the state capital. The crash occurred around 3.30 pm.
As of now, the operator of the helicopter remains unknown, leaving authorities and residents anxious for further details. According to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), there were four individuals on board, two of whom were white men and the other two were black men. The impact of the crash resulted in three craters on the ground at the site.
Emergency responders have been alerted and are expected to arrive at the scene to assess the situation. The incident has left the local community in shock and concern as they await more information on the situation and the condition of those involved.
