Hensard University, known as Nigeria’s International University situated in Toru-Orua, Bayelsa State, has officially started the admission process for 30 diverse courses spanning five faculties. The announcement was made by the University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof Dileep Kumar, on the institution’s website.
Prof Dileep Kumar expressed his pleasure in sharing the news, stating, “We are glad to announce that our admissions have started. All the details are available on our website.” He highlighted that the admission procedures are entirely conducted online, providing convenience for prospective students.
The National Universities Commission (NUC) granted approval following a comprehensive inspection of the facilities provided by Hensard University. The approved courses are distributed across the following faculties:

– Fisheries and Aquaculture
– Animal Production and Husbandry
– Forestry and Wildlife Management
2. **Faculty of Arts, Social & Management Sciences:**

– Performing and Creative Arts
– Philosophy and Religious Studies

4. **Faculty of Mass Communication & Broadcasting:**

Prof Kumar emphasized Hensard University’s distinctive features, including dual certifications, international linkages, access to global educational resources, experienced faculty from Nigeria and abroad, and research centers. The university aims to produce graduates who will be ethical entrepreneurs, leaders, and change agents for societal improvement.
Additionally, Prof Kumar mentioned that admissions are open for the Hensard University Foundation School, offering a one-year program in arts, social and management sciences, physical and natural sciences. This program prepares candidates for JAMB, GCE, and NECO examinations.
