In a shocking incident in Amaenyi, Awka, Anambra State, a house boy identified as Chigozie Dike has allegedly cut off the manhood of his madam’s aged father with the intention of using it for money ritual.
The 20-year-old house boy, who had been brought in to take care of the elderly man, reportedly committed the heinous act when the madam left for her restaurant business. He allegedly put on their generator to muffle any sounds and proceeded to attack the old man with a machete, severing his manhood for ritual purposes. The incident occurred on November 8, 2023.
According to sources, the boy had barely worked for a month before committing the gruesome act. The victim was rushed to Amaku hospital in Awka for medical attention.
The suspect, Chigozie Dike, is currently on the run, and a video recording from members of the family has been circulated, urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station.
The Anambra State Police Command’s spokesperson, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the incident and stated that the suspect has been apprehended and is now in police custody.
