In a recent development, Salamat Suleiman, a housewife, has taken legal action by filing for divorce after just two months of marriage, citing her husband’s health issue as the reason. Salamat expressed her concerns to the court, stating that she observed her husband’s sperm to be watery. Fatigued by the relationship, she pleaded for the dissolution of the marriage.
In response, the respondent acknowledged his health challenges but emphasized that his wife also faced health issues. Despite this, he professed his love for his wife and implored the court for time to resolve the misunderstandings.
Presiding Judge Abdul Qadir Umar advised Salamat to approach their health challenges with an open mind and seek medical assistance. He encouraged her to consider granting their relationship a second chance, highlighting that all marriages encounter obstacles.
The court adjourned the case until August 28th, awaiting either a report of settlement or further proceedings.
