Irebami Olakanmi, popular filmmaker has disclosed how she suffered domestic abuse because of football.
Olakanmi revealed how her former boyfriend forced her to support Chelsea FC and became abusive towards her whenever the team lost.
Speaking via Twitter, she said that whenever his team lost her ex would make life miserable for her.
She explained that there were days she would fervently pray for Chelsea to win so there would be peace in their home.
She said that if Chelsea did not win he would not eat his food and she was also not allowed to eat.
The filmmaker stated that if she slept off and refused to cheer while Chelsea was playing there would be a problem for her.
