Nollywood veteran actress Kate Henshaw has shared insights into her relationship with colleague Genevieve Nnaji during an interview with media personality Chude. Kate revealed that, despite some small disagreements in the past, their friendship has endured.

Kate shared her experience, stating, “We’ve had our issues, but not big issues. I have loved her, but sometimes, she pulls away, she pulls away from everybody, and you are like ‘ah, am I smelling?, What have I done, and you wonder. What is happening?”
Despite the occasional distance, Kate highlighted a positive encounter during a commercial shoot where she and Genevieve reunited after years without seeing or speaking to each other. According to Kate, Genevieve was warm and friendly, bidding farewell before leaving the set.
In a gesture of respect, Kate compared Genevieve Nnaji to American actress Angelina Jolie, suggesting that Genevieve values her privacy and solitude. The analogy implies that Genevieve’s desire to maintain distance might be a personal choice rather than a reflection of strained relationships.
