The Commissioner of Police for Lagos State, CP Idowu Owohunwa, shared details of the investigation into the death of singer Mohbad (Ilerioluwa Aloba) during a press briefing on Friday. Owohunwa disclosed that Mohbad began vomiting and developed goosebumps after being injected three times by nurse Feyisayo Ogedemgbe on September 12, 2023.
The CP provided insights into the ongoing investigation, revealing that a total of 26 witnesses, including Mohbad’s family members, manager, and others, have been interviewed. The incident occurred at Mohbad’s residence, where the nurse, invited by the singer’s friend Ayobami Sodiq (Spending), administered the injections.
According to Owohunwa, Mohbad was brought to the hospital dead, and doctors on duty certified his death on the same day. The injections administered by the nurse are believed to have triggered a chain of reactions leading to the singer’s demise.
