The lifeless body of a 28-year-old lady was discovered in a room at Eagle Rock Garden and Suite, located at 102 Yale Okeowo Street, off Community Road in Ago Palace, Lagos. The incident occurred on Wednesday when a young man, identified as Kelvin, checked into the hotel with the lady. After a short period, Kelvin left the lady alone in the room. The next morning, hotel staff found the lifeless body of the young lady. The police have named Kelvin as the prime suspect in the crime.
According to an anonymous staff member of the hotel, Kelvin arrived at around 11 p.m. on Wednesday with the lady and made a payment for the room. He later came downstairs, mentioning his plan to visit a club and assuring the hotel staff that he would return soon because his girlfriend was still in the room. The following morning, after unsuccessful attempts to get a response from inside the room, the staff members peered through the window and discovered the lifeless body of the lady. The hotel manager immediately contacted the Ago Palace Division of the police, who arrived and found the woman’s body.
The incident was reported to the police, and the Lagos State Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that an investigation is ongoing. The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department at Panti. The police discovered an inhaler used for catarrh in the woman’s nose.
