Nigerian singer and rapper, Logos Olori, found himself in a harrowing car accident in the heart of Lekki, Lagos on a fateful Sunday. The DMW (Davido Music Worldwide) signee took to his Instagram page to confirm the incident and shared photos of the mangled vehicle as proof.
Olori revealed that his label boss, Davido, had already pledged to replace the wrecked car with a brand new one, demonstrating a strong show of support and solidarity during this trying time. He thanked his stars, stating, “Thank God for life. Only one Godfather 001 @davido. New whip on the way.”
Additionally, Logos Olori used the unfortunate event to draw attention to the state of the dilapidated Lekki road, urging the government to take swift action to repair it. His plea was clear and concise, “Make them try do Lekki road.”
This incident is not the first time Logos Olori has been in the spotlight this year. Earlier, his debut single, ‘Jaye Lo,’ caused quite a stir back in July. The music video for the song featured scenes of people praying and dancing in front of a mosque, which stirred controversy and backlash, particularly from the Muslim community who deemed it “disrespectful to Islam.”
Initially brushing aside the criticisms, DMW’s chief, Davido, later decided to remove the “offensive” video from his social media platforms and subsequently created a new video for his artist, addressing the concerns and ensuring the respect of religious sentiments.
