Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as MohBad, has issued a warning against anyone collecting his son’s body for burial without his authorization.
In a video shared on TikTok, he emphasized that only he would authorize any actions related to his son’s remains.
“When this boy was alive, he was alive. When he go, he still retained my name. Nobody should go there and take his body, please,” he warned.
The singer’s father added, “If they want to do anything there, I’ll be the one to authorise them. Nobody should go and carry MohBad’s body from there.”
This statement comes after calls from singer Bella Shmurda and actress Tonto Dikeh, who had requested the release of MohBad’s body for burial.
The 27-year-old singer passed away on September 12, 2023.
