A peculiar incident involving a suspected UFO sighting has been captured on police bodycam footage in Las Vegas. The sighting occurred after several residents reported seeing “10ft aliens with large shiny eyes,” according to local TV channel 8 News Now.
The footage, recorded by a Vegas officer’s camera at approximately 11:50 pm on April 30, shows a bright blue ball of light swiftly traversing the dark sky. The sighting was prompted by a resident’s report of something “100 percent not human” on their property.
Around 39 minutes later, another resident dialed 911 to report two unknown entities in his backyard following an object falling from the sky. In audio obtained by the TV channel, the homeowner describes the scene to the police, stating, “There’s like an 8-foot person beside it, and another one is inside us [sic], and it has big eyes, and it’s looking at us — and it’s still there.”
The caller emphasizes the seriousness of the situation, asserting, “In my backyard. I swear to God this is not a joke, this is actually — we’re terrified. They’re very large. They’re like 8 foot, 9 feet, 10 foot. They look like aliens to us. Big eyes. They have big eyes. Like, I can’t explain it. And big mouth. They’re shiny eyes and they’re not human. They’re 100 percent not human.”
The responding officers express their unease at the strange occurrence. One officer is heard telling his partner, “I’m so nervous right now. I have butterflies, bro — saw a shooting star and now these people say there’s aliens in their backyard.”
One of the reported witnesses also shares their belief with the police, stating, “I don’t believe in it, but what I saw right now, I do believe in it.”
Following the alleged sighting, the area was thoroughly searched, and witnesses were interviewed. However, no new information regarding the incident was uncovered. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVPD) has since closed the case, as reported by 8 News Now.
This event follows recent claims by David Charles Grusch, a former intelligence officer turned whistleblower, who alleged that the US possesses parts and equipment from UFOs of “non-human origin” that have crash-landed on Earth. Grusch further stated that secret operations are underway to “reverse-engineer” these components for weapons development. He also accused the government of unlawfully withholding information from Congress in an attempt to conceal these findings, which are part of an “80-year arms race” to harness the technology.
Grusch, who worked on the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force from 2019 to 2021, revealed this information to The Debrief, stating, “We are not talking about prosaic origins or identities. The material includes intact and partially intact vehicles. The existence of complex historical programs involving the coordinated retrieval and study of exotic materials, dating back to the early 20th century, should no longer remain a secret.”
