President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Olasupo Olusi as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Industry (BOI). Dr. Olusi’s appointment is for a four-year term in the first instance.
This announcement follows the voluntary resignation of the former BOI Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Olukayode Pitan. Dr. Olusi brings over 20 years of experience as a World Bank economist and development finance expert to this new role. He has also served as an economic adviser to the Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance.
This appointment signifies a new leadership direction for the Bank of Industry under Dr. Olusi’s guidance.
