Mr. Akpe commended the people of Bayelsa State for their unwavering support for the PDP, assuring that Governor Diri would continue to deliver more projects in his second term. The Director General attributed the governor’s re-election to the will of the people and praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for ensuring the integrity of the electoral process by accurately collating results from the units. He emphasized that the electorate renewed Governor Diri’s mandate due to the administration’s commitment to the state’s development, citing notable projects such as the construction of the three senatorial roads.
