Reno Omokri, a notable commentator and social media personality, has used his platform to taunt politician Peter Obi in response to the plea for financial assistance by actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, who is currently dealing with health issues.
Mr. Ibu recently took to social media to seek public assistance for his medical condition. However, Reno highlighted Mr. Ibu’s previous public endorsement of Peter Obi during the 2023 presidential election campaign. Mr. Ibu, along with his daughter, had actively supported and campaigned for Peter Obi. Reno pointed out that it was an opportune moment for Peter Obi to reciprocate the actor’s support by assisting with his medical expenses.
Reno Omokri questioned why Peter Obi, who had claimed to be wealthier than then-U.S. President Joe Biden during the campaign, did not acknowledge Mr. Ibu on his birthday and suggested that the politician should help the actor in his time of need.
