Rivers State has introduced Fuel Subsidy Intervention Buses in a bid to provide assistance to its residents. The buses were unveiled in a ceremony presided over by Governor Siminalayi Fubara, represented by his deputy, Mrs Ngozi Nma Odu.
The initiative aims to alleviate the burden of high fuel prices on the people of Rivers State. Dr. Jacobson Nbina, the state’s Commissioner for Transport, emphasized that the Palliative bus service is entirely free for commuters. It is set to operate for a duration of three years, offering relief and accessibility to residents in need of transportation.
