I welcome you all to this critical Workshop on Attitudinal Change, Workplace Ethics, and Best Practices. The careful choice of participants to attend this workshop underscores our commitment to attitudinal change, best practices, and delivery of good governance to our people through effective and meaningful service delivery. As senior government officials, your responsibility in formulating and implementing policymaking is crucial. This workshop aims to equip you with the necessary tools to ease productivity, efficiency, integrity, and excellence in the discharge of your duties and, by implication, in supervising your subordinates.
The training by a team of experts in collaboration with the Government of Zamfara State is aimed at enhancing the capacity of senior government officials to better understand their roles and responsibilities as a means of rendering effective and productive service to our people and State.
I welcome the consultants for this second batch of training, which I am confident is the way to go in order to keep every member of government reminded and informed on the critical role and contribution of every one of us in the task of building our communities and the State in general through efficient service delivery.
I therefore call on the trainers, A & B Executive Protocol Consultants, which is led by experienced career diplomats who are professionals in the field of work ethics, strategy, and protocol, to deploy their skills in adding value to our senior government officials so that they are brought in line with modern ways of doing government business and community relations.
Our focus remains on improving education, building human capital, security and safety of the people, massive agricultural development, and economic growth through infrastructural development. These are key to the prosperity of our State. We shall remain determined to make significant strides despite our numerous challenges.
Alhamdulillah, we are making steady progress and positive impacts. The ongoing construction of an international airport will no doubt open up the State, enhance connectivity, and attract investment. I am also happy with the remarkable improvements we are achieving in education, agriculture, and healthcare sectors by improving the quality of life for our citizens. Our initiatives are to modernize the transportation system to enhance security and safety, generate employment, and improve revenue collection for public service delivery.
I am determined to see to the development of Zamfara State and would therefore be receptive to positive ideas that support these goals. The task ahead may seem daunting but they are surmountable, In’shaa’Allah.
I urge beneficiaries of this training to show exemplary leadership by exhibiting positive attitudinal change by improving and deploying positive work ethics, which this tracing is intended to achieve. By doing that, productivity will be enhanced, our institutions would be strengthened and a brighter future for our State will be secured.
