Renowned TV host Steve Harvey put an end to swirling rumors about his marriage as he took the stage at Invest Fest 2023 on Sunday. With a strong affirmation, Harvey refuted speculations of an affair and impending divorce with his wife Marjorie Harvey.
“Before I get started, just let me say, I’m fine,” Harvey confidently expressed, addressing the audience. “Marjorie’s fine.” In response to the ongoing gossip, he urged, “I don’t know what y’all doing, but find something else to do, ’cause we fine. Lord have mercy, man,” he chuckled, adding, “I sure wish I could cuss though. Sometimes you just wanna respond, but I ain’t got no time for rumors and gossip, man. God’s been good to me, I’m still shining.”
Although a representative for Harvey had not provided an immediate comment to Fox News Digital’s inquiry, the TV personality’s on-stage assertion seemed to carry a message of stability and unity.
The rumors initially took root when YouTuber Keem posted claims that Marjorie had engaged in extramarital affairs with both Harvey’s security guard and the couple’s chef. The post was later deleted, but it caused a stir. Keem went on to share a video of a speech where Steve Harvey had spoken about his relationship with his wife.
Marjorie Harvey herself addressed the allegations via Instagram, sharing a post titled “How To Handle Being Lied About.” In addition to the post, a Bible verse emphasizing the importance of not retaliating was included.
“My husband and I don’t usually stop to address all the foolishness and lies that have been spread about us,” Marjorie wrote in the Instagram post. “However to whom much is given much is required. I understand that with my platform comes some sort of responsibility to those that may not be as strong as we are. Read and share this with your loved ones that may not know how to properly cope. God Bless all of you.”
Steve and Marjorie Harvey’s public address at Invest Fest 2023, along with their social media statements, reflects their determination to quell the rumors and present a united front against baseless allegations.
