Bashir Ahmad, the Digital Communications Aide to former President Muhammadu Buhari, has revealed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to unveil his much-awaited ministerial list on Tuesday.
According to Ahmad, the President has only five days left within the 60-day window to submit his Ministerial list for screening and confirmation of his cabinet at the National Assembly, as stipulated by the 1990 Constitution as amended.
He further stated that the list would be announced at the Senate on Tuesday, unless there is a last-minute change.
“Barring any last-minute change, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s much-anticipated ministerial nominees’ list will be announced by the Senate tomorrow, Tuesday”, he wrote.
The ministerial list is expected to include at least one nominee from each of the 36 states in the country, as per the constitutional requirement for federal character representation in the cabinet.
