Former President Donald Trump is vehemently denying what he calls ‘baseless accusations’ from alleged Jeffrey Epstein victim Sarah Ransome, who claimed he had sexual relations with a friend of hers at Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse. The latest batch of documents related to the Epstein case, including emails containing the accusations, was published recently.
Trump’s spokesman, Steven Cheung, responded to the accusations, stating, “These baseless accusations have been fully retracted because they are simply false and have no merit.” The documents include claims from Ransome in 2016, alleging that Trump had sexual relations with multiple girls. Ransome had previously made similar claims about former President Bill Clinton and billionaire Richard Branson but later retracted them, admitting she had ‘invented’ the claim of having tapes to support her accusations.
The recent document release comes after Trump’s campaign had previously asserted that an earlier set of documents thoroughly debunked claims of an inappropriate relationship with Epstein. Trump and Epstein were friends in the 1990s, with Trump flying on Epstein’s plane and referring to him as a ‘terrific guy’ in media interviews.
It’s crucial to note that Trump has not been accused of any crimes or wrongdoing in connection with the Epstein case. The documents stem from a lawsuit by former alleged Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre against Ghislaine Maxwell, who has been convicted of trafficking underage girls on behalf of Epstein.
In another revelation from the released documents, former Epstein butler Juan Alessi mentioned having dinner with Trump at Epstein’s mansion in Palm Beach. However, he responded negatively when asked if Trump ever received massages while there.
Among the latest bombshell claims in the newly-unsealed court documents is the assertion that Epstein kept blackmail videos showing Clinton, Trump, and Branson engaging in sexual encounters with women supplied by Epstein. The claims are yet to be substantiated, and the FBI is facing pressure to release evidence photographed during a raid on Epstein’s mansion in 2019 that was never seized. The ongoing saga continues to unfold as legal proceedings and investigations surrounding the Epstein case persist.
