The announcement came after the FCT Executive Committee meeting chaired by the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike. Speaking to journalists, the Coordinator of the Abuja Municipal Management Council (AMMC), Chief Felix Amechi Obuah, confirmed that the committee approved contracts for new waste collection and management services across the territory. The approval also covers the acquisition of treatment plants and the maintenance of supervisory utility vehicles.
